TJANTING 1
This tjanting is made in Terengganu, Malaysia. A shoe-like shape that allows the artist to scoop a significant amount of wax at once. It’s almost double the capacity of a standard tjanting.
Two features that make this tjanting great:
- A very flat bottom that is great for all levels – beginner to expert.
- A removable wooden handle that allows for customization and adjustment.
Brass bowl is approximately 2″ in diameter.
The removable wooden handle is 5″ in length with a 1/4″ diameter. It is very easy to grip.

TJANTING 2
This tjanting is made in Indonesia. I have used this same tjanting for many years – it’s one of my favorites. The quality is superb.
The teak handle is not removable.
The reservoir is made of copper.
