Join batik artist Munirah Rimer of Teratai Malaysia in a virtual 90-minute batik painting workshop. Together we will create a batik handkerchief (your choice of four designs) while learning about batik from around the world.
Whether you’re an artist, a newbie, or a textile lover you are sure to learn something new about this ancient textile art of batik along with tjanting techniques and painting tips.
Registration will close May 17 to ensure kits are delivered in time.
Class Date: Thursday, May 27, 2021
This live online class will take place from 2-3:30 PM Eastern via Zoom. I will email you Zoom login directions prior to class. You will need a laptop or smartphone to connect.
