We can’t wait to share the joy of mud cloth inspired batiking with you at The Wynwood Yard! It’s our second year in the special space near Della’s Kitchen. Come explore the simple, fun and therapeutic process of Mud Cloth inspired Batiking with friends on your happy hour.
Come learn how to create your very own mud cloth inspired scarf using the batik method of wax resistance and dyeing with Munirah from Teratai Malaysia.
Using templates of different simple geometric patterns we will guide in waxing your very own scarf and then help you dye that scarf in your color of choice!
Munirah Rimer of Teratai Malaysia will provide all the supplies needed and guide you on how to create contemporary, textile mud cloth inspired Batik painting. This class runs for a minimum of 2.5 hours. You can choose from a variety of designs to paint.
