Join us as we combine the aromas of essential oils with the art of batik. Like meditation, the art of batik centers the mind and liberates the heart (through creativity).
This workshop will also use the benefits of essential oils to increase your level of relaxation and mindfulness. Using aromatic oils that make you feel positive, relaxed or euphoric, you can create a mental environment where your creativity can flourish.
Batik is a wax resist technique used to create designs and patterns on fabric throughout South East Asia, India, Russia and Africa. You will be painting on a 16”x16” Cotton handkerchief to take home. You will have 3 beautiful designs to choose from. Please click the link to check them out.
After batiking, you will blend a customized essential oil rollerball for your personal use after class.
All supplies provided. This class is for adults of of all artistic skill levels.
