7th Annual Off The Canvas LIVE: Hollywood, FL, Friday, May 12, 2017
Off the Canvas LIVE is entirely run by volunteers at Beachside, the program highlights the benefits students (K-8th grade) reap from learning about Nontraditional arts. Art is all around us, from the clothes you wear, to the building you stand in, to the dish you eat from. The importance of learning to appreciate art early in life is often overlooked and undervalued. It encourages exploration, self-expression, logical thinking, self-esteem, individuality, imagination and creativity. Teratai Malaysia facilitated and offered hands on opportunity for students to learn how Batik art on fabric is made.

This class runs for a minimum of 2.5 hours. BYOB and create a rewarding and beautiful piece of Batik. You can choose from a variety of designs to paint.
